So, as the title says, do you think there will be a KH 2.5 HD Collection in the future?

After seeing the Kh 1.5 announcement I am convinced that Nomura will keep his word about having a KH game out every year. SO I believe that a KH 2.5 HD Collection will be out by 2014.

The only game not really that available now or soon is kind of KH2 but I don't see the need to make a remake of that be called 2.5. I woul get it if iwas called remix 2 but i can't see tham making a re make of 3d or coded with kh2 so i'm gonna have to say no

i think there will be, otherwise it wouldn't be 1.5 for a reason. the way i see it, he might do kingdom hearts 2 hd with cutscenes from coded and maybe dream drop distance. MAYBE. still not sure yet but im pretty much convinced that there will be

I'm sure they will, but the games in it is the important thing.

KH II and 3D make the most sense for a remake IMO. BBS is too massive a game and it would completely dwarf 1.5 (KH2 was longer than KH1 and CoM is much shorter than BBS). Re:coded wouldn't be included either because, like Days, it would take a massive effort to make it HD, and SE isn't going to do that for us. 3D makes the most logical sense because it is 1 out of 4 of Sora's games (KH1, CoM, KH2), and is the only one that would not be represented.

However, this doesn't make sense because 3D just came out and doesn't need an HD improvement. We would probably rather have Days or Re:coded, but I don't see that happening. My guess would be that 2.5 would have KH2 FM and 3D, with cutscenes from Coded.

More than likely I would also like to see a pundle pack of the series, I know KH2 FM will be in the mix as well as KH FM, but I would also like a Re:CoM Japanese version too. but not likely it'll happen.

I just think that they are gonna remake kh2fm+ because remaking KH3D makes no sense as it just came out and it doesn't need HD improvement , and putting bbs makes no sense chronologically because it happens before kh1 and they seem to be remaking the games chronologically ... so yeah i just think they are gonna remake kh2fm+.

I think that he will produce all the console games for ps3 in preparation for KH3 so that more people can buy KH3 who wouldn't normally if they hadn't played the first ones. I also think that he will use the remixes to keep people occupied while working on KH3 so that we don't have a huge wait in between releases.

There most likely will be a 2.5. I am about 90-95% sure of that. Maybe 99% and that 1% is a little bite sized piece of doubt that is hiding in the back of my mind. And it'll include KH2 FM, BBS FM and Recoded Cutscenes. It'll include BBSFM becasue around KH2 is when refferences to BBS start being made so it would make some sense to put it in with that collection. Unless SE decide to release KH0 with BBS and BBSv2 but I doubt it. So yes to the KH 2.5 HD Remix.

Also carey just posted news about there will be a 2.5 game next week planned to be aired sometime in 2013. So Nomura is definitely getting his promise about a new kingdom hearts title another year in the row.

I honestly hope so, that would be something to look for, especially if it's leading up towards Kingdom Hearts 3 and eventually further on. I am ready to play KH3 dammit and it's taking longer than anticipated for it to come

these are past kingdom hearts titles right? maybe after you complete them all a secret video/spoiler might be shown. Atleast it'll be worth the wait.

I wouldn't see a purpose for a 2.5 addition we're all waiting for kh3 to come out and that would most likely push it's development back if it isn't already in the process of making.

Well not really, if that it'll include KH2 Final Mix like this one is including KH1 Final Mix... that's really about it.

Oh, and BBS and Dream Drop also. Cause it would be cool to play them on the big screen.
