In your average Kingdom Hearts title, you're probably going to be playing as Sora from Kingdom Hearts I. I personally have no problem with it, but I can understand why people do. We were introduced to a new outfit in Kingdom Hearts II, (I hate it) so it was expected that future titles would go on to use this new aged-up Sora. But that hasn't been the case. Days, Re:Coded, and DDD have all found excuses to use the fourteen year old Sora design; (with an awesomely simple new outfit in DDD) and it's confusing a lot of distant fans into think that these are all prequels.

I think the KH team and Tetsuya Nomura decide to use younger Sora because they like him more; or rather, he's more iconic and marketable. Sora in KH2, at the end of the day, is a bit ridiculous; but it's wrong to introduce an aged character and then keep the character young. It alienates a lot of people who thought the KH2 outfit was awesome. But I believe the dev team has a hard time working with KH2 Sora post-KH2, since he pretty much was a new character, baring little personality or appearance to his original incarnation.

So what does this mean for KH3? Well, usually all the big Sora titles have a wardrobe change; aside from COM. So chances of going back to the KH2 outfit aren't AS likely as some people might hope, but that's really too bad. It didn't get the mileage it's fans deserved. So I propose an idea here; hear me out, this is some progressive shit.

we should have the option to choose which design we use in KH3, and have our abilities and fighting style change accordingly.


Everybody has their favorite design and fighting style. Mine is still KH1, DDD a fairly close second, and KH2 not-so-big-a-fan. What do you think? What design would you choose for KH3? What about an all new design?


EDIT: and speaking of aging, I want Aqua to age, wanna see that MILF body. Search yourself you want it as well.

I hope that does happen. I liked Sora's KH2 outift but I like new costumes, and we need the KH2 Sora model to be used more.

I honestly didn't like Sora's outfit, it looked very baggy and over done especially with the modelization . Hopefully they'll come up with something better in Kingdom Hearts III if they decided to make sora age...which I doubt. Age is Non-canon in Kingdom Hearts.

I think Sora would be relatively the same age because Sora/etc. would be starting their journey almost immediately after Kingdom Hearts 3D. Maybe just a little older but not too big of a change.

I sincerely hope they don't re-use any of the current Saga clothes for the next Saga. In the next Saga Sora should have a new model and new clothes.
