So, what did you guys think of one of the Very first games Square-Enix developed?

I, personally, think there should be a Radiata Stories 2... (I WANT IT REALLY REALLY BAD :Tears: )

I mean they've came a very long way with graphics, consoles and players as a whole. I've never own any of their first games, because I've recently started getting into ffxii, kh, etc.



I'd love to see another, but it'd be tricky... they have to do something that answers the loose ends they didn't tie up, but at the same time doesn't screw with the established story.


But they did a good job on the first one, so I'd love to see a sequel... more funny would be nice!

Yes I would like Radiata stories 2, but I don't want the setting the be Radiata anymore. I would prefer if it's another Kingdom with it's own conflicts.

I'm still at the start (still recruiting all the characters I can before I go on the Crocogator mission) but so far I'm liking it. I was a fan of the Suikoden series which has a similar setup where you can recruit 108 characters but the last two or three games in the series have been really dreadful. Radiata stories has the same concept and just makes it better. Based on what I've played so far, I'd love a sequel. There's so much time you can waste by just exploring the cities, kicking people, figuring out how to recruit people and following characters on their routines...I've wasted hours doing this so far.

Aye, that it would, like, how Jack would be after he left the city (if you chose the Human side), and what would happen after Ridley and Jack returned to the Castle (if you chose the Nonhuman side).

It might be a bit tricky to make the game because of the different paths you could have chosen. Maybe They could do what Capcom did with DMC 2, and split it into two disks (Human & Nonhuman).

Hmm, that sounds kinda good too, and maybe, as a bonus like in the first one, they would have you fight Jack as a final boss like thing (like the Etheral(sp?) Queen in the first)

Aye, the Suikoden series does look good, but I've only ever played Suikoden Tactics, and finished it.

Aye, but I spent most of my time just kicking everybody and finishing Dragon Liar over and over again... gets kinda boring...

Id rather not see a Radiata Stories 2 unless it had an improved battle system and better stats for all characters.

I loved this game and all, but I hated how no matter what level you raised someone to, they were still pretty weak in the end. --XD for example Herz, who was one of my top favorites. Other than that, the battle system seemed a little empty-ish to me. Boss battles didnt really feel like fighting a boss. It felt more like I was just taking too long to beat an enemy.

=\ if those things were fixed, Id gladly welcome a sequel to Radiata Stories.

eh, i gotta say, it is kinda weak when you finish the game. Your stats barely reach over 240, and their max is 999. Even with Cheats getting me up to 999, its not really that much of a boost. I do like, 5% more damage, 50% to the final boss... but everyone else is just like 5% increase...

harder bosses... HELL YES! XD maybe some Star Ocean Characters too?

Characters aren't really weak once you maxed out your level but since you can't control them they are somewhat stubborn sometimes and instead of helping,they are just suiciders. Anyway, they shouldlet some ACTION COMMAND. That would be better in addition to your comments. I agree to themtoo.

I honestly don't want to see another Radiata Stories, I'd rather see a prequel for this game to be honest. A sequel would be too hard to make.

Well, i could go either way i guess, Pepper. Hell, if they could, i'd want part of it to be PVP (player vs player) or somewhere in it is 2P.

That might spice it up a bit...

yes i would certenly love for there to be a radiata stories 2 however it would likly be for a more current gameing system like the play station 3 never the less i find that it would be hard for them to make a second game that would blend in to the other perhaps maybe its a few years down the road and depending on the ending you chose in the first game affects how it is in the second kind of like they did with the .hack games save your chosen ending

I would love to see another radiant stories but a few things would have to change especially the characters design and the mock up of that battle field. Anyone agree? 'o'

Aye, it would be kind hard to make, and it would be worth it.

The battle field could use a remake. Maybe more KH-y? Third person view of Jack. New weapons and abilities deffinently.

If they do please make a sequel or prequel, one with Cairn as main character. As for a sequel, either have the continuing story in radiata with jack or new character, or another kingdom with jack or new character and still some of the original characters in there. As long as the original characters are still in existence with the game, it would be AWESOME! XD

And, maybe they woudln't have to make two disks. Human and Nonhuman, they could just... tie the plot up in similar ways for both of them. Idk, Someone revived, someone died, certain action preformed, or not, idk.

If they make a new sequel what do you suppose you think they should do for the old characters?

I don't want to see another radiant stories after all, I mean it wouldn't be the same as the last time.

Has anyone beaten level 5 yet? I was planning on starting Mother Tranit but not until I defeat level 2 boss.
