Do you think maybe Sora and Riku met kairi from Hollow Bastion, because it was never said that she was from Destiny Island, all we know is that she came from somewhere else.?

I never heard that her grandmother moved to DI as well... I thought Kairi just "appeared" during a meteor shower

It never said that they met her from Hallow Bastion. She came to DI and that's how they met. I'm not even sure if they even explained that in the game. but if so i think kairi came to destiny island then she became sora and riku friend.
