With the recent announcement of KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5 ReMIX- in western territories, the time has come for promotion to begin, and what better way to start it off than with a trailer? Originally featured at PAX East 2013 in Boston, Massachusetts, this trailer may seem familiar to those of you who've followed along since the title was originally announced at last year's Tokyo Game Show!

This North American launch trailer is exactly the same as the Jump Festa 2013 trailer, albeit with English text and voice acting. Gameplay remains in Japanese, though of course the game itself will be entirely in English.

Subtitles are available as Closed Captions.

NICE! sounds like they kept the same audio of young Haley for KH 1 Sora. Was worried they would get someone else to try and imitate the voice since they said they were re recording everything.

Well, wasn't this a pleasant surprise? Good to actually hear they are using the original voices for KH1 FM. Only thing that gets me is the Xion's inconsistent voice. I mean, first Alyson, then Hayden in DDD, and now Alyson again? Make up your mind, SE. Does not matter though, they both did a good job.

Xion had only one freaking line in DDD, so it shouldn't be that much of a bother. Also in comparison to, say, Ansem the Wise who changes his voice actor even more often due to Sir Christopher Lee not always being available.

Oh man, now that I've listened to the Japanese VA's I don't like the English ones at all. I don't understand what did the Japanese liked so much about them that they actually included them in the Final Mixes.

I wished there was a Japanese voice option... Atleast I hope they do it for 2.5. Aqua in English is good but the Japanese VA is way better IMO.

xD The Japanese voices are charming and perfect, but I think the Japanese like the English for the same reason we like the Japanese xD

Hahaha. I love how this video came out and rid us all of our voice actor fears in one foul swoop. I bet they did that on purpose. LOL. Thank you for not leaving us in the dark about this, Disney and Square:) I truly appreciate it ^_^

I'm so glad to know they kept Zane for Ansem, Sora's younger voice, and Boreanaz for Leon. Ahh, the nostalgia… Now I can rest easy, and eagerly anticipate the release of this game. Woot!

And honestly, I'm glad they kept Alyson for Xion. After hearing the Days scenes so many times, it would have been weird without her. And though I originally thought she sounded a bit off in this trailer, I like what she's doing here. She seems to be voicing Xion a bit breathier(?), which is sort of similar to how Naminé sounds. Appropriate, since Kai, Nami, and Xion are all the same girl more or less.

Anyway, I highly approve of everything going on here, and can't wait to get my hands on this game!

Although… is it me, or does Roxas sound a bit too much like Ventus, when he’s questioning Axel? Roxas’ voice sounded a bit higher pitched to me, but maybe I just need to listen to it again.

I cannot wait to replay the games. I haven't played them since I finished them the first time. Getting English versions of the Final Mix versions is a HUGE plus and I really hope the next release includes the Final Mixes of KH2 and BBS.

^ Agreed. But the only thing i didn't like about the newer series is how they changed the gameplay i mean i hate all the cards and things :/
i just hope they bring back the original kh 1 and 2 controls ;.;

Maybe, but with a twist per say? I liked Kingdom Hearts II controls better than I did for Kingdom Hearts one only because they were a lot easier and simple to handle.

Both are true. I agree, I think Nomura and his team may add a new fight system and magic system, does anyone else want to see new summons, or wanted to see new summons?
