Well I think it is common knowledge to us KH fans that Riku was supposed to be the destined Keyblade Wielder instead of Sora, right? But then how come in the beginning of the game, Sora goes and picks either the sword, shield, or magic thing? Because that's basically planning out Sora's stats for when he becomes the Keyblade Wielder. They wouldn't have had Sora do that, if he wasn't going to become a Keyblade holder, right??

That's because Riku knew about it as well. Also Riku was the real keyblade barer, but Sora could weild it as well. :<3:

Yea, supposely in BBS Terra chosen riku but it ended up with sora. idk how it jus happened, maybe sora heart was stronger at the time.

i THINK IT'S NATURALLY that he could weild it on his own.
