Final Fantasy X (ファイナルファンタジーX, Fainaru Fantajī Ten?) is a console role-playing game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) as the tenth installment in the Final Fantasy series. It was released in 2001 for Sony's PlayStation 2. The game marks the Final Fantasy series' transition from entirely pre-rendered backdrops to fully three-dimensional areas, and is also the first in the series to feature voice actors. Final Fantasy X replaces the Active Time Battle (ATB) system with a new Conditional Turn-Based Battle (CTB) system, and uses a new leveling system called the "Sphere Grid."

Set in the fantasy world of Spira, the game's story centers around a group of adventurers and their quest to defeat a rampaging force known as "Sin." The player character is Tidus, a blitzball star who finds himself in Spira after his home city of Zanarkand is destroyed by Sin. During the game, Tidus, along with several others, aids the summoner Yuna on her pilgrimage to destroy Sin.

This game is fucking awesome.

It is awesome, tidus is a loser in the game. Especially when he got nocked over in battle.

It has good graphics and the lvl's on the game are challenging.

omg this game is awesome. I loved it lol the graphics were amazing, the plot was just great. loved playing multiple characters like that. wasnt a fan of the battle system, but overall the game was awesome ^^

I never knew they had multiplayer, hmm, but I think cloud should have been more un-digitalized in the game. Serious, I think they should have made a VERY HARD difficulty.

Yeah they do have multi player, but you cannot play as two players on story mode. I think that kinda sucks the most...

Multi player was awesome, seeing how cloud and sephiroth were together was weird.

wait. this is a thread about FFX. not FFVII. Cloud isn't in FFX. T_T

lol the thread's about FFX with Tidus, Auron, Yuna, etc. Not Cloud, Sephiroth, any of those characters.

Thats what i was wondering, i was like wtf, since was cloud in X.

Cloud and Lightning are by far my fav FF characters. But for X i would have to say Lulu. Don't know why. Yuna is just annoying.

In FF x-2 i fell in love with Paine and Rikku.

in FFX Yuna was my fave but I liked Lulu and Rikku as well ^^

You know they rechanged the opening after season 3, because on the makings. They used a character that wasn't in the original one.

Also, I think S-E should make an ending towards the title. Anyone agree?

I love Lulu. Cold hearted bitch! Hahaha. I love her. She is cool and her magic attacks make up for her lack of physical strength. What does Yuna have? Aeons, Phmp, that is cheating.

Yuna has fighting skills i think, last time i saw her, she had the oral blade.

she doesn't really have fighting skills until FFX-2. I mean, yeah in FFX if you didn't use her magic or Aeons, she'd go up and wack an enemy with her staff but that didn't do a lot of damage.
