The Retired Staff is basically what it says. Staff member that are no longer able to moderate or control the forum. They are inactive or just have temporally leave until they are able to mod again.

I basically moderate this group. As of right now, we only have one retired staff member from waaay back when the site first started. Our staff team here is pretty active and have good updates, which is really good =)

Yes, Stardust Moderates mostly all the groups here. So she's in charge of that and everything else as the same as I am. We're basically top dogs here.

you have to be a staff member first. after a while, if you become inactive or if you decide you aren't available to keep up with your position, then you are reassigned to that group and become a regular, non-staff member

You can't be retired staff if you were never staff so it wouldn't make sense.
